Tick Tock

She works and she sleeps.

Tick tock.

Her mind fights to control the pain.

Tick tock.

Energy drained leaves friends estranged.

Tick tock.

Sickness and nausea rarely calmed by warmth.

Tick tock.

Adrenaline and more give mitochondria a hard time.

Tick tock.

She sleeps for while but wakes more tired.

Tick tock.

Exhaustion and pain are stealing her life.

Tick tock.
