Opportunty

As you walk out the door don’t look behind you.
That is the past, look ahead, see all that is new.
As you shut the door, don’t feel disappointment.
Feel optimism at the opportunity you’ve been sent.

Please don’t feel loss and don’t feel displaced.
It was home for a while, the experience was great.
But the time has come to think of what you want.
Ignore what they need, don’t let uncertainty taunt.

As we move on, we should live and we should learn.
The bridges we have created will never be burned.
And the people we knew, we will always know.
Now shut the door firmly, don’t look back, just go.

Loot

2016

Makes me think that ...

Whether we are forced to change, to move to anew job or we are doing it voluntarily, eagerly, when the moment comes to close the door for the last time, Loot suggests we close it gently but firmly, look forward seize the new day and the opportunities it will provide.
