Caretakers

Who you going to call-CARETAKERS

We unlock, we lock, we clean.
Do tasks that go unseen.

Planon, emails, access cards too.
Some of the computer work we do.

Deliver parcels, do the post.
Help with jobs that matter most.

Here to help on our chest.
We always try to do our best.

Drunk or druggies in the loo.
Yes we deal with that too.

First in the morning before it’s light.
Last to go home in the dark at night.

Lost your phone, see what we can do.
All this on a lousy grade two.

Jackdaw

2016

Makes me think that ...

A lot of the work to keep a company well oiled is basic, some might say menial, many would say unskilled. Most would agree their pay is often at the bottom of the ladder. Ask yourself what you do without them however and you might conclude that they are crucial. Jackdaw gives a sense of the role from the inside.
