A Blank Piece of Paper (reading 2)

A blank piece of paper,
They told us all.
The paper was blank,
The writing was on the wall.

The wisdom was clear.
The diamond sat on a rickety table.
A pearl cast before swine?

There are many rooms in our new house they said,
But you no longer have a home.
This bit fucked with my head.

Goodbye Chelsea, Farewell SSM,
Welcome to Synergy and Dragons’ Den.
