For experts & mortals who train.
Setting off from St Bees this route merges with the route starting at Whitehaven as they both cross the Egremont Road. The two routes run together until Cross Rigg, when they divide. The route to Robin Hood's Bay turns south heading for Boot whilst the route for Tynemouth turns north heading for Lorton. In keeping with tradition don't forget to dip your back wheel in the sea before you start and your front wheel when you get there. Have a great ride!
